Lux Hair Boutique has grown and evolved with the industry and, since January 2022, we’ve proudly become a co-working freelance salon space. I truly believe the future of hair is freelance, and creating a supportive, like-minded community of independent stylists was always part of the bigger vision for Lux.

I wanted to build more than just a salon - I wanted a space where stylists can run their own businesses confidently, feel supported, and work in a calm, positive environment.

Here’s how working at Luxhair looks like:

The Set Days Membership (Part-Time Rental)

Our Set Days membership is perfect if you want regular salon days but still need flexibility. You commit to set days each week across a 52-week membership, and on those days you’re free to work as much as you like within our salon opening hours.

It gives you structure and security, while still keeping that freelance freedom.

The Studio Base (Full-Time Rental)

The Studio Base is for stylists who want to fully base their business at Luxhair. With a 52-week membership and unlimited access during salon hours, you have total freedom to work when and how you choose.

It’s ideal if you’re ready for consistency, stability and building your brand long-term within a supportive space.

The Guest Chair (Casual Rental)

Our Guest Chair option is great if you just need a chair now and again. Whether you’re a visiting stylist, have overflow bookings, or only need occasional access to a professional space, you can hire a chair as needed (subject to availability). Maximum of 2 days a month. It’s flexible and simple - no long-term commitment required.
